Hi! Allow me to introduce myself and my family! My name is Sarah Focken. This is me with my husband of 14 years and our children! We are an Army veteran family. We have endured many moves, many life changes and challenges. I am a Dayton local native that returned home after our time in the service and a challenging journey finding a place to call our permanent home. I am an independently-licensed clinical social worker with a background in treating women, parents, and family systems struggling with mental health, substance use, and systemic issues. I combined my clinical experience with my personal experience to create The Play Cafe'. I was passionate about creating a practical and safe place for children to play, and for families to relax, socialize, obtain resources, be productive and intentional with their lives.
